A careful choice of Words

I am a disrupter and an innovator, but I am not radical.

The reason is not what one might think. To some the term radical¬†is an adjective, however to others it’s a noun. As a disrupter and innovator, my behaviors and outcomes can take on the flavor of radical as an adjective which is:

relating to or affecting the fundamental nature of something; far-reaching or thorough.
“a radical overhaul of the existing regulatory framework”
However to many radical is something very different. Here is the other definition, which is a noun:
advocating or based on thorough or complete political or social reform; representing or supporting an extreme section of a political party.
“a radical American activist”
As you see a single word can mean different things depending on how it is used. For example , ISIS is a “radical organization” (noun).
I think you all get it….
More importantly when you define yourself with words, be careful of the words that define you!
