 Mark S. Fogel is the Co-founder of Human Capital 3.0, a Human Capital and Talent Advisory firm servicing a broad range of industries with a focus on assisting businesses identify and grow its talent strategically.

Mark builds great HR teams. He is an architect of High Performance HR and has successfully done so at three dynamic organizations. Mark’s background includes over a decade as Chief Human Resource Officer at Leviton, the Marcum Group, and Success Academy CMO (the country’s most successful and controversial charter school network) as well as co-founding Human Capital 3.0, a boutique HR advisory firm with some very big clients.

He also writes regularly for Fistful of Talent, the SHRM blog ,  and    Workology.com.

Mark has been honored by The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) nationally as their Human Capital Leader of the Year in 2007, and by HR Executive Magazine as an Honor Roll recipient in 2010 and “Best HR Ideas” in 2012. He has also been a recipient of SHRM’s innovation in a down economy award in 2009, Adelphi University’s Teaching Excellence award in 2013, and named one of Long Island’s 50 most influential business leaders by Long Island Business News. His HR teams have garnished numerous national and local awards for HR innovation, wellness and employee engagement.
As a subject matter expert, Mark has spoken at SHRM and World at Work’s National Conferences on topics ranging from Employee engagement to Global HR. He also speaks frequently at Industry and Educational events. Mark participates as a Gerson Lehman Group (GLG) consultant advising Fortune 500 companies strategically on HR topics. Mark holds the SPHR, GPHR and SHRM – SPC certification designations, and is one of less than a thousand individuals globally to do so. Mark is a Sr. Adjunct Professor at Adelphi Graduate School of Business. He sits on several local boards, leads the SHRM – CHRO network hub in the NY metro area, and is an editorial review member for World at Work publications. Mark is quoted frequently and has been featured in a variety of traditional and on-line media nationally.
